Join us to add some nice upgrades to Boven National Park.
We will be doing two activities:
Firstly, we will construct a Bin Shelter (similar to the one on Zeelandia Beach) near the entrance of Boven National Park to reduce the littering of this area. A concrete pad will be poured before the event and during the event we will construct a block wall to house the bin. After the event, we will plaster the structure and eventually prepare it for painting.
Secondly, we will construct a picnic table at Venus Bay, creating the first facility in this area so people can enjoy picnic and have a place to sit.
5 people will travel into the park (with our truck) to construct the picnic table, the remaining volunteers will stay at the entrance to mix concrete and build the block wall.
